Self-employed tax calendar for 2026
You can find more information about the forms in section 4.1 of our help center.
As every year, the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) publishes the calendar with the main deadlines for complying with tax obligations.
However, since self-employed individuals have fewer obligations than those included in that general list, in this article we provide a summary of the 2026 tax calendar applicable to most self-employed professionals.
Deadlines for filing self-assessments with direct debit
The deadline for submitting self-assessments with direct debit depends on the filing deadline of each form. If that date falls on a non-working day, the deadline is moved to the next working day. In that case, the direct debit deadline is generally extended by the same number of days as the filing deadline.
In addition, between the end of the filing deadline for a self-assessment with direct debit and the end of the general voluntary filing and payment deadline for that same self-assessment, there must be at least three working days or five calendar days. For these purposes, non-working days include Saturdays, Sundays, national public holidays, and regional or local holidays affecting the municipality where the IT Department of the Spanish Tax Agency is located.
Below are the general deadlines and the direct debit deadlines for each form corresponding to the year 2026.
| QUARTER | FORMS | DIRECT DEBIT DEADLINE 2026 | FILING DEADLINE 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st quarter 2026 | 111, 115, 130, 303, 349 | Until April 15 | Until April 20 |

| 4th quarter 2026 | 111, 115, 130, 303, 349 | January 2027 | January 2027 |
